How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Amazing. In a forum, somebody who claims English is their third language, posted a grammatically somewhat incorrect, but otherwise eloquent thread. In comes the representative of the Greatest Nation, and he goes like this: "If you don't know how to spell words like "boring" and "condescending", use a dictionary. People who cannot spell are the reason why the world is getting dumber one day at a time."
My face fucking dropped. The poster knows THREE languages rather fluently, albeit with mistakes here and there. How many foreign languages do YOU speak, motherfucker?
I get it. English is the language of the trade and if you want to get by in the Western world, you do well to speak the language at least on a communication level. And the thread starter did!
Dumber by the day? DUMBER BY THE DAY?! Fucknuts, if YOU don't instantly know my language, how to spell words in my language and their meaning, according to your logic, you're also among the people who you claim to be the reason of world getting dumber.

I am so baffled and borderline outraged that I just... whut. Whut?

I am striving to be a linguist of sorts, I've this love for languages, and I appreciate anybody who speaks more than one language more or less fluently. I want to punch the critic in the face, hard. Seriously, I bet they can speak their 'americanese' and a few words in 'mexicanese' and be done with it. Fucker.

What? is not always easy to speak other language in short times, especially when you live in a country that is far from the country where the language you study is spoken.
And where i live is not easy (is almost impossible) to find someone that speak english or norwegian (two languages i'm studying) so is difficult to do a good pratice. Understand a language is different from learning to speak it.

And intelligence is not measured on how many language you speak. There are people that speak 5 language and they still act stupid.

Acting stupid and being unintelligent are two different things. If someone has learned 5 different languages, it's quite clear that their mental capabilities are larger than that of someone who can't spell in their native tongue. To memorize tens of thousands of words, hundreds of thousands even, if one is a real polyglot is no joke. I mean, I'm fairly talented in languages and some other things, but I act stupid a lot. These two things aren't related.
